The pool movies are a collection film, television, and video games about the game pool. These movies show a wide range of action and players. These movies range from serious to humorous. There are many great options for both newbies and seasoned professionals.

A lot of films focus on the human drama. But there are great action scenes. And there are several pool movies which feature trick shots. Trick shots show mastery and creativity in tough situations. These are often not seen during a game but they are very common in pool movies.

Walter Tevis's classic film "The Hustler," is another. This story started out as a short story. It became a 1961 movie about blazing billiards. Its success launched a billiards revival, and the movie has been credited with the resurgence of the sport.

Other notable pool movies include "The Baltimore Bullet" and "The Color of Money." Both are very good, but the former is a better film. Also, "The Baltimore Bullet" features the legendary pool shark Willie Mosconi, who has been inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame.

Many movies from the 1930s were focused on social trends. This film takes place during that era and has a cast of characters living on the margins of society. The movie features some actors in addition to the main cast.

Poolhall Junkies offers a variety of amazing trick shots. One trick that is great for pool hall Junkies is the masse shot. If you've ever played a masse shot, you'll know how tricky it can be.

The "goodbye Johnny" and "Do It for the Game," are two other notable tricks in the film. The first is a nice way to demonstrate how a player might use a dead bank. The second, which is not mentioned in the movie is a clever method to teach a player how a player can play a billiards shot.

There are many movies that include a billiards-themed theme. There are even comedy pool movies. There are also a few films that focus solely on the sport. Even the movie "Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire", which is about a snooker game, centers around it.

Other than the movies that are pool-related, there are short films and TV shows that feature billiards. Below is a list.

On the other side, there are a few subpar movies that do the billiards thing. "Goodbye Johnny," though, is a bit mediocre. The movie does an admirable job of highlighting beautifully executed shots, but the plot is quite unimaginative.
