Pool is a highly contested game, unlike other billiards games. It is loved all over the globe. There are many versions of this game in the USA. The most popular are the eight-ball and nine-ball pool. Pool matches are often played over multiple games. After a certain number frames, the winner is declared. The winner receives 61 points. However, different winning numbers can be awarded handicaps.
The primary goal of the game are to have all the balls pounded. Each ball that is pocketed counts as one point. Any additional balls are worth one point. The eight-ball rule states that a player can win only if they take the ball first. If the player fails to pocket the eight ball, the game is lost. If the eight ball is pocketed during a foul, the other balls that were pocketed in the course of the foul are pocketed and are spotted. However, the foul doesn't count towards your points. If a player commits two fouls in a row, they are required to be told before playing their next shot.

The balls can be divided into three sets: striped or solid balls, object balls, and striped ones. They are typically smaller than American style balls. They come in a variety colours, including dark violet for four and twelve balls. Although they were originally all red, object balls are multi-colored nowadays. They can also be made from fibreglass, carbon fibre, wood and other materials. Most common diameters for balls are 2+1/16 in, 2 in, and 3 in.
The object of the game, however, is to steal the black eight balls. To do this, the ball must be pocketed by the player. However, it is important that all pockets are properly spotted so that they can be placed on the foot rail. The eight balls are placed back on to the table. After that, the player who has the eight ball can decide if he wants it to end or continue.
The player can take a ball and pocket it without fouling. He or she must place the ball in the exact spot at the foot of the player calling the shot. To avoid fouling the ball, all balls must be placed within the same line as the foot spot. The foul will not add to the points, but the player will receive a shot free of charge. The foul may be used with any ball.

If a player takes a shot, they have to pocket the ball in their own pocket. The balls must be hit in order of priority. If a foul occurs before a ball can be pocketed, then the ball in front row must be again pocketed. Other balls can be pocketed by the player.
