Jimmy White is the most famous snooker player in the world. Jimmy was born in Balham (London) and has held 30 professional titles. His flamboyant style is well-known, as well as his natural talent. His accomplishments have seen him reach the top of the sport, in many countries.

In the 2014/15 season, he won three matches at full-ranking events. His disappointing season ended with a loss to Barry Hawkins, in the International Championship. Despite this, he finished in the top eight outside the top 64 on the main list.

Jimmy White, then just 15, became the youngest player ever to win the ranking event. During the course of the tournament, he defeated Stephen Hendry, Mark Selby and David Morris. He secured his place in top 64 by winning the tournament.

Jimmy White is the star on the BBC2 series Gods Of Snooker. A fan favourite, he has become a popular figure for snooker fans across the world. He divides his time between public speaking and snooker when he's not playing. He is often called upon to host corporate events and awards ceremonies.

Having fought for his place in the top 64 of the sport, Jimmy White made the most of his opportunity in China. In an effort to be in the top 64 again, he qualified for International Championship. He became the second overall player with a maximum break at the tournament.
