The US Open Pool Championship is an annually held professional nine-ball pool tournament. It was established in 1976 and is one of the most prestigious nine-ball titles in the entire world. It is considered to be one of the most highly regarded tournaments in pool. In addition to the title, the winner receives $200,000 in prize money.

Max Lechner defeated Chinese Taipei's Ko Ping Chung 6-9

Max Lechner defeated Ko Poing Chung (Chinese Taipei) 6-9 in Saturday's US Open Pool Semi-final. Lechner made his semi-final debut by jumping on the first rack, and then swooped in. However, Ko was able hit a two-ball into the pocket, and held on to the win.

Lechner won the US Open Pool Championship and will now face Francisco Sanchez Ruiz. Ruiz is a former World No. Ruiz, a former World No. 1 in Live Nineball beat Lechner 13-10 for the $50,000 first prize. This is the first ever time that a Spaniard has won.

Max Lechner's US Open Pool Championship campaign has been a success. He defeated Ben Crawley 13-10, in the semi final. The German is a rising star who plays a fantastic offensive game. At twenty-one, he was also the youngest Mosconi Cup champion. His victory earned him the no.1 rank in the world, which is the highest sport ranking.


Max Lechner wins the 2022 US Open Pool Championship

Max Lechner is a 21-year-old German who won the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. He won by four points after a tense final frame. Sanchez Ruiz from Colombia was a crucial foul on Lechner’s 3rd shot.
