JiaQing Wu, a Chinese pool player, is the double world champion. As a teenager, he won World 9-Ball Championship. Wu, who was known as "Chia Chung Wu" when he was younger, beat Austria's world number one Ouschan in the finals by 11 points. Wu won the World Eight-Ball Championship and was second in the World ten-ball Championship.
International Pool Tour will host a multimillion-dollar 8 ball tournament. It will feature young stars ChiaChing Wu (left) and Jasmin Oschan (right). This event features a record purse of $3 million and a first-place prize of $500,000 for the winner.

He was the youngest European player to participate in the Mosconi Cup 2008, and was awarded the MVP award. He was also among the youngest players to win the China Open. In the same year, he won European Pool Championship. He was the winner of the WPA World 9ball Championship as well as the Leende Open. He also took the first spot in the US Open-9-ball championship.
Saris beats Albin in the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open
The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open started with the 9-ball single competition. The Netherlands' largest sports channel, Ziggo Sports Channel will broadcast the first match live. There will also be a semi-final, and the final.
Ivar Saris beat Albin Ouschan, in a thrilling match. Albin won nine of ten point to take the win. To reach the knockout round, Albin will next face the winner in the Erol Kayas-vs Michel Bartol match.
David Alcaide wins the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open. Shane Van Boening defeats David Alcaide
The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open has reached its final phase and Shane Van Boening is still in the running for the title. American had won the Predator World-10-ball Championship last year. He will now face the reigning World Pool and Billiards Association 9-ball champion, Joshua Filler, in the final. Both men survived difficult draw conditions. Filler won the final round against Gerson Martnez of Peru, and Van Boening met Fedor Gorst from Russia. Filler won at 6-2 after leading the first phase matches by as much four games.
Van Boening ranked first in the 64-player bracket. He spent hours practicing his break shot in Qatar. This helped him get past his first four opponents. He won them all by a combined score 44-14. He beat Orcollo the first round and then defeated David Alcaide the second round.
